The Internal Audit Directorate is an independent unit established under Section 16 of the Internal Audit Agency Act 2003 (Act 658) and Section 83 of the Public Financial Management Act 2016 (Act 921). It improves internal controls, assesses risk management practices, and promotes good governance within GIMPA.
The directorate reports administratively to the Rector and submits findings to the Audit Committee of the Council.
