GIMPA Law School

Advocates.Scholars.Public servants.

Legal education at GIMPA runs in two streams — a first degree straight from school, and a post-first-degree LL.B for graduates changing direction. Above them sit four LL.M specialisations and the Institute's two law centres.

The school teaches advocacy the way it is practised: in the moot court, before judges, arguing real problems.

The moot court

Advocacy is taught by doing it.

Students argue before judges in the school's moot court and compete regionally — the discipline that turns knowledge of the law into the ability to use it.
