Head, Department of Public Management and International Relations

You are warmly welcome to the Department of Public Management and International Relations portal. Ours is one of the leading departments of the Institute, hosting some of the oldest and original programmes — with alumni networks that stretch from certificate to doctoral levels.

In addition, given the growing global interdependency and integration, our master’s in international relations and diplomacy has become one of the most attractive and popular offerings across the Institute.

We bridge GIMPA’s original public servant training mandate with our aspiration to be a globally recognised research-oriented institution — offering a mixture of public sector-oriented training programmes as well as academically oriented programmes at various levels.

Thank you.

About the department

Who we are.

Established in 2021 as part of the departmentalisation initiative, the department bridges GIMPA’s public servant training mandate with its research-oriented academic goals — offering a mixture of public sector-oriented training programmes and academically oriented programmes at various levels.

Admission to graduate programmes requires a bachelor’s degree (minimum second class lower); candidates with lower classifications may pursue postgraduate certification first. Work experience is preferred, and a motivation letter and selection interview may be required.
