Dr. Felicia N. A. Engmann
Head, Department of Computer Science and Information Systems

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems. We were established in September 2023 following the merger of the former Computer Sciences and Information Systems & Innovation departments.

With eleven full-time lecturers, we deliver computing education across every academic level — from the Diploma in Applied Computer Science to the PhD in Information Systems — guided by excellence, quality, and connectedness.

Our research spans predictive analytics, wireless sensor networks and IoT, machine learning, computational immunology, and biomedical informatics — and our students work with industry tools including Simio for modelling and simulation.

Thank you.
