I lead a team of twelve faculty members and two administrative staff who are experienced professionals, passionate about the discipline, and committed to excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement.
Our research spans accounting education, sustainability accounting, financial inclusion and digital finance, and climate change risk management — and it flows directly into what we teach. The department delivers professional teaching in Accounting and Finance as well as consulting services to the public and private sectors. Highlights across programmes include management accounting, taxation, auditing, investment management, financial risk management, and international finance.
Admission to masters programmes generally requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second class lower — or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CIMA. PhD applicants need a masters with GPA ≥3.3 (or a first-class bachelor’s), two recommendations, an essay, and a research proposal.
